Chester Bennington has died at the age of 41.
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, on March 20, 1976, he found music early in his life.
His parents divorced when he was 11 and he turned to drug use, which he struggled with them for years.
In 1999, he found success with his third band, Linkin Park, who debuted their first album on October 24, 2000.
Linkin Park would bring him extreme success and that is who is most well known for being with.
The band’s lyrics about overcoming things no matter the odds reached the public in ways that the band never could have imagined.
Bennington’s unique voice had just as much to do with their success, as it made them stand out from every other band, and it was he who was responsible for much of their lyrics.
On the morning of July 20, 2017, Chester’s body was found by an employee.
According to police reports, Bennington committed suicide by hanging himself.
